The mission of M2is to help promote
artists and their work in an atmosphere conducive to their needs. M2 intends to
bring new and exciting works to the art collecting public. To the public M2
extends an invitation for individuals to explore art through examination and
reflection.
The ultimate goal
of M2 is helping artists achieve their objectives of success.
M2 offers visiting, new to the area and local artists an
environment advantageous to their needs. M2 works as a catalyst, for artists to
test public reaction to and for gathering information on the community's wants
and needs. M2 wishes to benefit the public by presenting
traditional and nontraditional art in a non-aggressive manner allowing
individuals a chance to fully experience the works being presented. By
advancing towards these goals M2 believes both the artists and the community
benefit mutually by expanding creativity and understanding together.
M2 offers a manned
exhibition/gallery space providing the professional artists community with an
opportunity to exhibit and sell their work for a
modest sales commission. The commissions are the means by which
operating expenses are funded. Choosing to hold your exhibit at M2
promotes yourself and your artwork in an affordable way. This allows you or
your group an opportunity to acquire feedback from art collectors and the
public in general. M2 is available for rent on evenings not
previously booked for opening receptions or other events. By renting the space
for fundraisers, special events or celebratory get togethers business leaders
and art benefactors support up coming events, helping to lower fees for
artists. This is a convenient arrangement for individuals and local businesses
to show their support while fulfilling a need for accommodations.
